DEODAR is a member vessel of the Swedish Sailing Vessels Association, SSF On two occasions she has been assisted by subsidies from the Swedish Maritime Museum for hull restoration works. Deodar has, in 2001, been certified as part of the Swedish Maritime Cultural Heritage. The hull and rig are restored 90% back to the original condition.

DEODAR has during several years participated in different sailing events.
