HISTORY

England
DEODAR was built as a sailing trawler at Robert Jackmans shipyard
by the outer breakwater in Brixham, Devon, in the year 1911.
Swedish trader
With the modernisation of the English fishing fleet followed the
selling of the older vessels. Many trawlers were sold to Scandinavia.
Between the years 1890 and 1937 over 250 English sailing trawlers
were sold to Sweden alone
On the 10th of April 1937 the contract was signed and John Harald
Heimer became owner of DEODAR.
Pleasure Yacht
1958 saw the end of the trading epoch and Deodar then became a
Pleasure Yacht.
